- Understand technical constraints of the development environment and create illustrations that are optimized for performance and usability within those limitations.
- Ensuring files are animation ready with appropriate grouping and layering.
- Collaborate with other illustrators and animators to deliver artwork.
- Work at a fast and reliable pace, meeting timelines and adapting quickly to project needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with cross-functional teams (designers, animators, developers, and therapists).
- Incorporate feedback from child development specialists to enhance accessibility and usability.
- Export illustrations in multiple formats — Webp, SVG, and raw design files (e.g., AI files).
- Support graphic design like interface elements, icons, promotional visuals, etc.
- Proficient in tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDraw and procreate.
Requirements
- A degree or formal education in Fine Arts or a related field.
- Portfolio showcasing illustrations and storytelling in digital experiences.
